Home is a dashboard providing a well-rounded relationship snapshot and connection to where firms need to go using their choice of configurable widgets. Along with pertinent insights from across Client View, Home also features Rebalancer and Billing specifics and will launch users directly into client-related workflows.
We’ve streamlined how firms can set up and manage relationships. Clients can now ensure a firm user’s relationship access coincides with their account access using an automated sync. In addition, all firms using the daily feed with the Redtail CRM integration now have access to the relationship and contact sync.
From the Connections menu, clients can use single-sign-on to launch directly into the marketplace.
The Accounts Receivable system is designed to identify fees billed against those which have been received to provide current and outstanding revenue information. The functionality is also designed to work with the use of Billing Accounts, Pay by Invoice Accounts, as well as with Fee Attribution. This is now available as an optional feature and can be activated upon request.
Specific tax lots can now be selected during sales transactions. Firms now have the ability to override an account's tax lot disposition method by directly indicating which tax lots should be disposed for a given asset's sale transaction. Firms can quickly identify the lots that are being disposed for a sale transaction on the Trade Tab within the Trade Order of a specific client by selecting the arrow next to each sales transaction.
Firms can bulk invite, or re-invite, their clients to the portal and gain visibility into their usage through the improved Client User page within your Client Experience application.
Advisors are able to create tasks for clients to view within their Client Experience portal, eliminating the need to send extra communications for tasks like document signing.

Our latest enhancement to the Redtail integration is a contact sync where contacts and relationships in Redtail can be automatically created in Black Diamond using Redtail data.
Client View is the primary hub for advisors to house client information, client reports, documents, and communications. Client View houses all important information related to each of the clients that advisors manage. Advisors can configure a default experience for all users and more granularly setup purposeful experiences for specific roles.
Trade Reconciliation compares “trades” and “transactions” to auto-reconcile activity that can be matched, while also indicating any discrepancies that may have occurred. These discrepancies can be reviewed and cleared or reconciled.
Clients using SS&C as a fund administrator, have the benefit that alternative investments will sync automatically in Black Diamond including a statement import.
A new content management dashboard within the Reports application is coming soon. It will simplify how clients update market commentary, investment philosophy statements, team bios, and other content referenced within client reporting.
To provide clients with transparency into any potential trade breaks, functionality will automatically reconcile Rebalancer trades against executed custodial transactions falling within a client’s defined tolerance next-day.
To help streamline the Document Vault experience, we’ve built a consolidated Client Files page for quick setup and document sharing. We’ve also added the option to create and apply folder templates.
