Client View is the advisor’s window to their client’s past, present, and future financial life. Therefore, accurate and complete planning data is paramount to achieving their client's financial goals. Starting with Right Capital, we will immerse planning data into our platform holistically, which will connect the advisor’s client's financial life to Client View, their Client Portal, and communication capabilities like the Relationship Timeline, and the Client To-Do List.
Clients look to advisors to understand their values and help them make decisions about their future. In addition, investors are increasingly interested in understanding if their investments align with their values. Incorporating ESG data into the platform allows advisors to provide transparency and insights that demonstrate the deep knowledge of their client's interests and values that drive their financial life. We’re collaborating with Morningstar Sustainalytics to deliver turnkey access to powerful, comprehensive ESG and analytics reporting.
Previously, only sweep money markets were able to act as cash in the Rebalancer. We’ve added an option to consider tradeable assets as cash equivalents for cash buffers and generating trades.
We are updating how we handle accounts that are short of the cash buffer, and the option to select Ensure Cash Buffers Are Fulfilled. Based on client feedback, before reverting to the current methodology, we will sell overweight positions to target weighting if the buffer is not met.
We are adding a new tax lot methodology that focuses on maximizing losses. This tax lot methodology will be available for all Black Diamond clients and is available to leverage within the Rebalancer.
Setting up Client Relationships allows users to see a more robust, holistic view of client details. To help streamline the contact and client user creation workflow, we have added a modal prompting advisors to create a client user when clicking “save” at contact creation.
Firm users are now able to use Client View whether or not a portfolio or account is associated with a relationship.
Advisors now have the ability to quickly see why a client account or portfolio triggered a Monitor exception. Whether asset classes are out of tolerance or accounts are short of cash, users can now view more detailed information as they decide whether or not to take action on their client's behalf.
We have launched additional benchmarking capabilities, alternative investment reporting flexibility, and more. Advisors should contact their Client Representative to turn on these exciting new features. Areas where Reporting Flexibility features have been introduced or enhanced include Client View (enhanced), Client Experience Portal (new), Advisory Reports: Alternative Investments (enhanced), Client Reports: Performance Reporting (enhanced).
Search and view all the trades for a given session holistically. Within the experience, advisors can also choose to add a trade as well as make any edits to quantity, price, or value for existing trades.
Review fixed income and alternatives reporting for non-relationship related portfolios within the Advisor Reports area of the Business Intelligence application. With the upcoming retirement of the legacy Portfolio View application, Business Intelligence is the new home for insights into portfolio exceptions not part of a relationship.
Here advisors can launch straight into exploring commission-free solutions and leverage a range of resources that make it easy to implement insurance as part of their clients' financial plans. The space also displays a relationship-specific account list of selected policies detailing the carrier, current market value, tax status, and more so they can analyze the information in the context of a client’s entire financial life.
Trades can now be added from directly within the Trade Blotter page for increased efficiency. Plus, more robust trade warnings, the option to restrict trading based on classification data, and insights into the last time a client was rebalanced have also been added.
Highlights include upgraded reporting content with more extensive data options and performance optimization along with settings management customization for Firm Administrators that extends all the way down to the card level. In addition, holistic relationship level visualizations and filtering for custom-defined relationship, portfolio, account, asset, and holding tags/groups will be added later this year.
A custodial export formatted specifically for Raymond James is now available within Finalized Billing Runs. This provides the ability to export fee data in a format that is directly unloadable to the custodian without any adjustments.
Document-signing workflows are now available. The integration incorporates client reminders through the To-Do-List, automatic envelope and recipient creation, advisor notifications upon completion, Vault storage, and more.

Through a custom-branded, interactive client portal, advisors can document advisor-client communications, showcase dynamic portfolio metrics, post to a secure document vault, incorporate outside account aggregation, balance sheet reporting, and more.
Advisors can itemize their value by structuring fees in a way that makes sense to both the advisor and their clients. The countless configuration settings and built in workflows allow a streamlined process, eliminating the need to run billing more than once per period.
